Q: Who does the Chicken Banana song?

The viral Chicken Banana song comes from TikTok creator @CrazyMusicChannel, and the track is titled "originalljud." This fun and absurd sound features a playful beat with repeated chants of “chicken” and “banana.” As of now, the audio has been used in over 1.6 million videos, helping launch one of TikTok’s biggest dance trends of 2025.

Q: What is the origin of the chicken song?

If you’re thinking of the classic Chicken Dance song, that originated in the 1950s from Swiss accordionist Werner Thomas. It later became wildly popular in Germany and around the world. That tune isn’t the same as the Chicken Banana song, but both share the same silly spirit and viral potential.

Q: What is the banana song based on?

There’s no single “banana song,” but many viral or meme songs have used bananas in funny, repetitive ways—like “I'm a Banana” or kid-friendly banana tunes. The Chicken Banana song continues this trend, combining random, catchy words with a beat made for TikTok. It’s designed to stick in your head—and it works.

Q: Is the Chicken Dance song German?

Yes—the traditional Chicken Dance song (not to be confused with Chicken Banana) gained popularity in Germany under the name “Der Ententanz” (The Duck Dance). It became a staple at Oktoberfest and other festivals. The Chicken Banana song, on the other hand, is a modern, internet-born trend rooted in TikTok creativity.

Q: Is it OK for chickens to eat bananas?

Yes! In real life, chickens can eat bananas in moderation. Bananas are rich in nutrients like potassium and vitamin B6, making them a healthy treat. Just peel the banana first and offer it in small pieces to avoid overfeeding. So yes, the chicken-banana combo is internet-approved—and real-life safe!
